Cardamom Tented Camp

Koh Kong, Cambodia

Deep in the jungle of Botum Sakor National Park and located on an 18,000-hectare concession, Cardamom Tented Camp (CTC) is a unique conservation and ecotourism project in southwest Cambodia that protects the surrounding forest. This low-impact camp is an ideal base for adventurers and nature-lovers with spectacular surroundings in every direction of the Cardamom Mountains. There is accessible only by river boat or forest hike. The nine-unit tented camp is rustic but comfortable, equipped with essential facilities and en suite bathroom. There is a restaurant pavilion, staff dormitory, ecotourism equipment and boat pier, and it uses solar power and has its own wastewater filtration process. CTC looks to promote a sustainable tourism with

minimal carbon footprint, while the chief aim of the camp is to help protect the local rainforest from logging. By staying here, you’re actively helping in that cause.

The camp offers different packages that require a minimum stay of two nights, including accommodation, meals and nature activities. All tours and activities have been crafted to provide guests with a meaningful and educational experience in the real jungle. Kayak down the river, hike through the surrounding forest, and discover more about the camp’s dedicated conservation work by the local rangers who are combating illegal poaching and deforestation that occurs in the area.
